They had a huge audience that was earned at The Hill but clicks were also heavily paid for and they're being boosted and pushed where other independent media is not. This is about who's behind them, the agendas they are advocating for and the things they DON'T cover - and why.
why does James Li have to talk about Assange to be what you want him to be - he has a particular interest area that doesn't necessarily include that - they have not hidden what resources they have - unless they are outrightly saying questionable things what is the issue? again - this is an issue that at the bottom of why the left sucks at doing anything constructive - we keep taking the hatchets after each other instead of organizing to actually get anything done
