It is hard to imagine any other foreign state being given such leeway in the US and openly disseminating propaganda guidebooks (i.e the "Hasbara Handbook:" http://www.middle-east-info.org/take/wujshasbara.pdf). Imagine if somewhere like Russia were doing all this what the reaction would be!
Nazi terrorism is supported by the US government and its allies, not anti-apartheid protesters. It is the US and allies that support Nazis like the Azov battallion, which wants to lead a holy war against the "Semite untermenschen," and other far right radical and terrorist groups like the chattel slaving caliphate of ISIS that was pushed out of Syria by Hizbullah; not the US.

The FBI, meanwhile through COINTELPRO was what transformed the Ku Klux Klan into the violent, murderous group it's now known as, one worse than just poor white racists of the kind MLK thought were more on his side and worth speaking with than moderates – due to their being part of the same class in similar situations, and thus able to learn to see reason through discourse. The FBI infiltrated them and started turning lynchings into initiation rites and trying to drive people to commit violent crimes assaulting and killing black people, as well as their white supporters.
What a shock the same state and country that supported Adolf Hitler and whose law enforcement and intelligence apparatus organised Ku Klux Klan lynchings would today be such valiant supporters of what is a state doubtlessly guilty of the crime of apartheid per the legal definition under the Rome Statute of 2002; doubtlessly guilty of the crime of genocide; doubtlessly guilty of ethnic cleansing.
Nazi terrorists, indeed, as a terrorist is per the original definition of the word given at one point by the OED "an adherent or supporter of the Jacobins, who advocated and practiced methods of partisan repression and bloodshed in the propagation of the principles of democracy and equality," and as Gore Vidal rightfully put it, among the US government there "are so many Jacobins at war against the lives, freedom, and property of our citizens."
