The US military pollutes more than 140 countries. Our wars for oil destroy the economy and climate resiliency of those we target. This is a vital part of climate justice that requires our attention.

The Democratic Party claims to be the party of “environmental justice.” It’d be funny if the irony wasn’t so dangerous.

This is a party that gives more money to the imperial military every year, dominating the world with bases and a budget bigger than the next ~10 countries combined.

This is a party that sees nothing wrong with starting wars that kill innocent civilians and impoverish nations, creating refugee crises at our borders that will only intensify alongside the heating planet.

This is a party that isn’t serious about the international cooperation necessary to save humanity from the sixth mass extinction of life on earth.

In this video, I scratch the surface of why US imperialism is one of the biggest contributors to this environmental crisis and why the Green Party’s eco-socialist, anti-war approach to environmental justice is so important for Americans to consider.

We can’t keep letting Democrats trick us into voting for global military domination and the destruction of life on earth. The world depends on us.
